Mood: distracted
Listening To: Bowie.

Just an introduction.

So, I'm new here. Obviously. I figured I'd say hello and offer up something of an introduction.

Name's Richie, "in South Philadelphia born and raised." Twenty-four years old. Blah, blah, blah.

I do many forms of art. Drawing, sketching, painting, sculpting, remodeling Barbie's, Digital Manipulations via Paintshop, and occasional photography. All of my online work is my digital work, as I lack a scanner. I've been drawing since I was damned young; and only  within the past year or so began messing around with digital manipulating. I use Paintshop, because it's what I'm used to. I've used Photoshop, but eh.

I use Philly in all of my manipulations of a ruined or otherwise destroyed skyline, basically because I live here. And 'cause I'm tired of seeing New York get its ass handed to it in movies. I also try my hand at other forms of manipulations, such as make-overs and the like. I'll upload those eventually.

I didn't go to art school, having taught myself everything I know by trial and error. Some of those failed attempts can be found in my scraps section. Average starving artist who drinks entirely too much coffee and smokes too much.

Figured I'd start getting my work 'out there.' Meet other artists, etc blah, blah.

Also would like criticism; telling me where my weak points are so I can improve. Not sure what drives me, as I don't really think I ever want to 'make a living' out of art. Philly seems to be swamped by 'art students,' so getting a job in that field is pretty hard.

That is all. Nothing more to see.
